Tip 4:- Dimension Tolerance Of Cube

Dimension tolerance of cube Is ” + or – 2 mm “

Why Cube Size Is 150 X 150 X 150 Mm Or 100 X 100 X 100 Mm?

Compression testing cube is normally 150 x 150 x 150 mm or 100 x 100 x 100 mm

Size does not matter but if we use a larger size cube for testing then we need a testing machine which a capacity of tons and has larger pressure for testing the cube during the time of failure particles of the cube is behaving like a bullet and the chances of damage and hurt people

#5 Brick

The compressive strength of brick is 3.5 N/mm2

The density of brick is 1600-1900 kg/m3

Lapping does not provide if reinforcements bars are 32 mm or more in size
